Prayer and worship form the basis of Ygnacio Valley Presbyterian Church. We offer a range of services and opportunities to participate. Our calendar includes time allotted for prayer, sermons, and personal reflection, as well as guided Bible study.

Welcome to
Ygnacio Valley Presbyterian Church
A Faith Community
YVPC--Neighborly, Nurturing, Nudging
Neighborly-- We are a church who desires to be good neighbors to our surrounding community, in our world and towards the earth.
Nurturing-- We nurture each other’s faith journeys and gifts of the holy spirit and nurture the earth to heal the world, leading us to fulfilling lives and so that all may thrive.
Nudging-- We lovingly nudge ourselves and each other to lead lives in the way of Jesus. We recognize that the poor and oppressed need advocates and the powerful need to share their power to build the just, kind and loving world that God desires.
Resources for Growth & Connection during COVID-19
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

Book of Common Prayer
Throughout each week we are reading from the Book of Common Prayer as a church community. If you do not have a copy, let the church office know and we would be happy to order a copy for you. You can also follow along on a daily basis at CommonPrayer.net
Weekly Prayer
This is a stressful season and we want to be available to bring comfort and offer encouragement as we travel this journey together. Church leadership will be praying for each congregant and also checking in. If you need professional resource recommendations or other help, or have a prayer request, please email us or call the church office and leave a message.

Deacon's Food Pantry
YVPC has an ongoing Deacon's Food Pantry at the church building. If you have food to donate, please contact us to arrange a drop off without physical contact. If you'd like to donate funds to replenish our pantry, please make a note on any online donations or checks. If you or anyone you know is in need of additional food, call the church office to leave a message or email us to pick up pantry items.

Giving
While our expenses have not diminished, we have understandably seen a drop in rental income so we ask that everyone as you are able to continue giving and not let up on our culture of contagious generosity during this time. There are opportunities to give online via Paypal, or by mail to the church building. Thank you!
Stay up-to-date with all our events.
